Ibram X. Kendi is a case study in how to become a successful scholar in 21st century America.
Quote:
Ibram was a bright but underachieving senior at his Northern Virginia high school. His GPA was below 3.0; his SAT scores were just above 1000. He thought he wasn’t smart enough for college, even though he had been admitted to historically black Florida A&M University.

Ibram H. Rogers has grown up to be Ibram X. Kendi, 37, a leading voice among a new generation of American scholars who are reinvestigating — and redefining — racism. In 2016, at 34, he became one of the youngest authors to win the National Book Award for nonfiction, for “Stamped From the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America” — which, gushed the award judges, “turns our ideas of the term ‘racism’ upside-down.” The following year, American University recruited him from the University of Florida to join the faculty and create the Antiracist Research & Policy Center.
MacArthur Foundation Announces 2021 ‘Genius’ Grant Winners
This year’s 25 winners include Ibram X. Kendi, who wrote “How to Be an Antiracist,”

Dr. Kendi, 39, is perhaps the most widely known of the 25 people in this year’s class of MacArthur Fellows. His 2019 book, “How to Be an Antiracist,” has sold 2 million copies and established him as one of the country’s leading commentators on race since the George Floyd protests last year.
But the MacArthur Fellowship is not simply love mail. It comes with a no-strings-attached grant of $625,000, to be awarded over five years. And it is known colloquially as the “genius” award
I thought black people would never get ahead because of systemic racism and that society was against them, so why bother? Have they been lied to by the Left?
And yet, you will cry your idiot head off if the evil government tries to tax rich people.
It would be better to tax the rich, get rid of tax loopholes and put that money to building something for all people in the US.
Whatever, you get what you vote for. I'm sure Africa enjoys all that Bill Gates money that ultimately came from you.
How about we reduce taxes on everyone and have the government "build" less. I generally like to keep my money and don't want the government building much of anything.
The SAT and ACT are the closest thing to an IQ test that one will take.
His score tells everything. In today's world, idiot = genius.
