The idea that Trump speaks for anyone other than himself is a joke. The idea that Trump has true beliefs or any sort of convictions or platform is a laughable fantasy. This is all about the sick joy of getting his ego stroked - he will say anything at any time, in order to feed on the adulation of his devotees. No different from Jim Jones or any other cult leader.
A friend of mine is a therapist at an asylum for the criminally insane.
Despite being found guilty of committing horrendous murders that
pose them as a direct credible threat to the public, they still beg
and argue to be released.
Found to be criminally insane, they still refuse to believe or understand
that they are not to be trusted to somehow never hurt or maim anyone
ever again. They refuse to face the simple fact about themselves.
I see no difference in Trump, except that he has not been found
guilty of committing a horrific murder. The thought process is
still the same, same logic if you somehow do not see what was wrong
about the documented and proven events that took place on Jan. 6th
and why they occurred, and what led up to it all.
4+ years and $40m+ of a goosechase turned up zilch. If there was something to find it would’ve been found.
Any proof to your Jan. 6 because Trump claims, or just more speculation?

I really do not care what you think of MY opinion. I care about the factual
evidence I witnessed BEFORE Jan. 6th even occurred, when I listened to
Trump spew rhetoric that I myself understood was going to be dangerous.
I had a medical appointment at my local VA that morning, and I live far
away in Texas. I considered cancelling my appointment because I was
concerned Trump's increasing rhetoric was going to encourage someone
to walk into my local VA with a gun as a result. THAT was days before the
Jan. 6th event. I KNEW THAT WHAT TRUMP WAS STATING PUBLICALLY
WAS DANGEROUS RHETORIC MEANT TO INCITE POTENTIAL VIOLENCE!!
Like I said, your opinion is just that. I suspect you would argue if someone
told you that the sky is blue and that grass is green. Does not change FACTS.

Yes, they tried to destroy federal property, much like antifa blm did over the past year. They were wrong to do so , much like antifa blm were wrong to do so. The difference is that many on the right have been saying the Jan 6 crowd and blm antifa were in the wrong to do those things, while many of those on the left were cheering or ignoring the destruction caused by antifa blm while getting upset over the riot on Jan 6. (ya bunch of hypocrites)

Well said, but that does not change one inconvenient fact. The fact is that there is a significant minority in the USA that choose to accept populist dogma over logical reasoning. And that anarchistic minority is exceedingly dangerous to the ongoing stability and even the future existence of our Constitutional Republic.
Historically it can be seen that many failed coups are essentially practice for a future successful coup. Trump came far closer to succeeding the first time than Americans understand or are willing to admit.
Point is that the good guys do not always win, and that rationality does not always prevail over the power of effective propaganda, particularly in the Information age.
