https://www.businessinsider.com/majority-of-trump-voters-believe-its-time-to-secede-survey-finds-2021-10

Here’s an interesting discussion, hypothetically let’s say this happened. We cloned America and all the people that want to succeed from the country now have their own country, the location isn’t important, we will assume that Tumpland has all the same resources and infrastructure that currently exists today. What would this new country look like?

#1. Well obviously, Trump would be president. And since he wins any election he runs for, he’s in effect president for life. In other countries it’s usually referred to as a dictatorship.

#2. Since Trump doesn’t like what the press writes about him,the easiest way to solve this problem is to do away of the free press. If they only write lies about him, the countries better without them. In other countries, the free press is kind of like a check and balance like the courts on there leader’s powers. If there wasn’t a free press Watergate would never have happened, and other corrupt politicians would be able to get away with alot more without fear of the press swaying public opinion against them. But in Trump land, corruption doesn’t exist, Trump said so.

#3 illegal immigration – Trump land will be protected by high walls, razor wire, even land mines and free fire zones are not off the table. Any solution that prevents the horde of uneducated illegals looking to steal Trumpland workers jobs.

The downside of this strategy is there will be a number of jobs that no self-respecting Trumpland citizen would consider, like cherry, asparagus, apple, strawberry, mushroom and pepper picking. These are labor intensive jobs that are usually performed by legal and illegal immigrates. Pretty much any farm harvesting task that can’t be mechanized, produce will be in short supply.

#4 Import/Export - Any imports would be at best banned, at worse only special exceptions would be allow, for resources and products that can’t be obtained locally. On the plus side this greatly helps the work force, on the downside, products like TV’s would be more expensive that overseas competitors, not that it would matter, they can’tbe imported anyway. I wouldn’t expect a huge increase in prices though, maybe doubling, most manufacturing is highly automated with robotics, so it’s not like you adding a huge overhead by paying workersfair wages.

#5 – Energy – Trumpland has enough resources to not have torely on imported fuel, most power production would probably be coal plants, to keep campaign promises made by Trump. Trumpland would be a big contributor to greenhouse gases, not that it matters any, global warming is a myth, Trump says so, so it must be true.

Plenty of of folks with a disdain for trump would like to see a secession. Count me as one. And when you look at how one team despises the other, how some cultures despise another, how certain parts of the country despise other parts of the country, it really makes little sense to keep it together.

Sounds like a job for ... Puerto Rico since it would be far too expensive to move all the Trump worshipers to the Moon.

No need for secession if we just give states more autonomy and limit the power and scope of the federal government. Let California decide what is right for California and let Montana decide what is right for Montana. The problem starts when people from California and New York go to Washington with the intent of telling people in Montana and Nebraska how to live.

Limited federal government overreach is the answer. Stop playing dictator and bullying the states around. See post above this one. If we want to be in this together we have to give people the right to live the kind of life they want and not force a cultural preference down peoples throats. Forget the fact that it's democrats that are the real racists anyways. We have checks and balances to stop people from trying to impose their will on others. That seems to be all going out the window as one side seems to have no problem playing dictator right now.

Blame the people who voted for them and continue to support them.

Seems inevitable. Democrats aren’t interested in America as it was founded and as we knew it before they took over the federal government.

that same UVA survey had 41% of Biden voter feeling the same way. So not much different in how the sides feel. I do feel its time to remember that we call them "states" because we also call independent Nations States and that the U.S. was meant to be a Union of these various States. With States primarily having control over their own people. Today we have a bloated Federal Government which seeks to control everything across every State and each State trying to tell other States what they should do. Time go go back where the Federal Government only has limited power for such things as common Defense. People from urban areas have no right nor idea how people in more rural areas should live and vice versa. Each State needs to abide by the Constitution they all agreed on, anything else is not the business of any other State. If you don't like the rules of the State you live in, move.

States already can refuse to enforce federal laws...but can you think of a single time this has happened?

Usually states are eager to impose federal charges on people from what Ive seen!

Why the hell are the states doing this when they dont even have to?

This post , an article and poll is very disingenuous and why our media is cr@p.

The article says UVA surveyed 2,012 voters — half of whom voted for Trump, the other half for President Joe Biden. That's 1,006 that said they voted for Trump and 1,006 for Biden. It says a little over 503 of the Trump voters would like to leave the union 412 who voted for Biden also. Then the writers write in big letters on top of their sensationalism article: Majority of Trump voters believe it's 'time to split the country' in two, new poll finds.

500 voters doesn't represent 74 million voters and to suggest that 503 voters is the majority of 74 million, has to insult the intelligence of people and that's how the media treats the public, dumb. Trump NEVER pushed to divide the country in 2. The only people always dividing this country between Red and Blue comes from the media.

The you can read the 2 liberals writers a mile away. Click on their pictures to see 2 pukes who just got out of college. At the end they write:

Quote:
While it wasn't captured in the survey, both parties also seem to agree on major priorities like modernizing and improving infrastructure, as evidenced by a bipartisan infrastructure bill that passed the Senate in August with 19 GOP votes.
I guess this rag it's benefiting and their friends of big government contracts, tax breaks and guaranteed bank loans with this bill. 2 writers are pushing the bill and are an arm of the Democrat party.

Can we just send the dems/lefties to Guatemala since they made so much more vacancy there? They go there and we keep the United States. That would be too wonderful. Since the left love doom and gloom, let them go to Guratemala and they can change pronouns, yell racism, teach CRT, be WOKE, have all the crime and terrorism they want until their hearts are content. Maybe even the illegals will follow them back there if they continue to give their tax dollars to them.
