Florida verified 2,741 new COVID-19 cases from Sunday, the smallest daily increase in the state since July 5, according to CDC data. The latest metrics posted Monday show the state at 3,586,802 cases and 55,619 deaths tied to COVID-19 since the start of the outbreak.

That reflects that 608 more deaths have been reported since Friday, when the CDC’s death toll for Florida sat at 55,011. Only one new fatality was attributed to this past weekend, meaning the others happened in the days and weeks before but are just being added to the data.

Florida went from 20,000+ cases per day in August to less than 3,000 cases per day...WITHOUT instituting useless mask mandates, useless lockdowns, and useless vaccine passports. The rest of the country should take note.

By the way, just to put these numbers in perspective: Florida's population is 21.48M. That means that new cases in FL are just 0.00012% of the population.

It's time for the COVID nonsense to go away. Stop reporting cases, hospitalizations and deaths, stop giving "public health officials" a platform to spread fear and panic, and STOP voting for politicians who want to control you and your lives while using this virus as a pretext.

Stop reporting cases, hospitalizations and deaths?

You mean go back to the “hoax” angle you guys played in the beginning?

Yawn. Nobody ever said the virus was a "hoax." Just another lie from Team Blue, which you are dutifully regurgitating like you do every other lie from Team Blue.

The response to the virus of mandating masks and shutting things down was always useless and unnecessary as the data proves. That might be the "hoax" you're whining about but it's hard to tell since you're all over the place with your misinformation.

If you remove the hyperbole, politics and DeSantis haters and use JUST the experience and the data ... everyone benefits. It wasn't a cake walk, but like the alpha wave, the delta variant had to strike somewhere first.

Florida (USF data shows) is the first state to reach herd immunity. Therapeutics have proven to help reduce hospitalization and deaths when given early. More therapeutics on the way, it's really the future for treatment.

So, Local Channel 10 reports
"Only one new fatality was attributed to this past weekend, meaning the others happened in the days and weeks before but are just being added to the data."

This report from a regional hospital via Wink News...
"Lee Health said they have 125 COVID-19 patients isolated in their hospitals on Monday while two people died on Sunday."

Do you see that there are two statements here that don't mesh?
So much for the news.
Not a big difference but still inconsistant. And that's only one hospital.

However,, it's great news in either case!
