Fiona Bissey, an Indiana woman who participated in the January 6 Capitol insurrection, is imploring a judge not to sentence her to prison because she is afraid she will contract COVID-19. Of course, she is unvaccinated.

It's heartening, in a dark way, to read that she's being shunned by her community, and her business has suffered for participating in the insurrection.
Maybe we'll come out of this bleak period intact after all.
BTW - her name actually appears to be Donna Sue Bissey, not Fiona, and not Dona. Kind of confusing.

Yeah, in Indiana of all places. Her business is going down. So sad!
Even her lawyer acknowledges that she is creating her own problems by not getting vaccinated. I just don't get why she is so afraid. Antivaxxers have been telling us all we're overreacting to this virus. But suddenly, when her freedom is at stake, she is taking it seriously.
Yeah, right.
No get out of jail free card for her for her refusal to get a vaccine. Take your chances, lady.

Apparently she's asking for the same deal her friend and fellow traveller got. Three charges have been forgiven, in a plea deal.
I don't know what she did, but it was more than moseying in and having a quick look-see and then leaving after a couple minutes.
From my link above:
Prosecutors have filed a separate sentencing memorandum asking the court to sentence Bissey to three years of probation, $500 in restitution and 40 hours of community service. This is the same sentence that Morgan-Lloyd received in June after pleading guilty to the same charge.

But it's just a cold! The glorified flu! 99 percent survival rate! What's she so afraid of?
Well not to go into if she actually did anything that would warrant Jail or Prison time.
During the BLM riots it was proven with MSM that a person could not catch COVID while protesting, so why should she have been afraid of it in DC? You also had Governors early releasing violent felons because of COVID so COVID in the prison system must be a real fear.
Seems like a very reasonable request based on what Liberals have done as precedent. Are you really just disturbed because someone from the Right is trying to use a tactic of the left?
Was not afraid to get in a plane n be in a huge crowd on the 6th. Pfft. You undermined our democracy that day. More info still has to come out to the public.
