I'm still trying to decide if blasting Captain Kirk into space for three minutes is really cool or a colossal waste of money. Probably causes lots of pollution too.

Hey - it's not taxpayer money. Bezos can spend whatever he wants.

I hope he makes the talk show circuit. He sounded deeply affected by his little journey and I'd like to hear what he has to say after some time spent reflecting on what he learned.

Waste of money?? Millions spent on this stimulated the economy of all the suppliers and people that work on this project. Better than just stuffing it under a mattress or giving it to government to waste.

Me too. It was hard to make out what he was saying but he seemed to have a life changing experience and I’d be interested to hear what he says.
That was pretty awesome, but it's weird how some of the things looked like CGI especially when the rocket landed back on the pad. No, not saying it's fake or anything but looked strange.
Good for him though I could never do this due to panic attacks and motion sickness.
I watched the entire flight and even got choked up a bit by Shatner’s reaction, and his stating that he hopes he “never gets over it”. It brought the man so much joy to be a part of that flight.
In a dark time, it sure was a bright spot to my day.
Right, because why would anyone waste money on clean water for children in the third world when America's aging Hollywood brats can get a ride on a real spaceship?
