A senior U.S. Army flight surgeon with specialized training in infectious diseases has filed an affidavit against the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for active-duty military personnel, warning that problematic heart side effects may cause pilots to die in mid-flight.
Lt. Col. Theresa Long, the surgeon responsible for certifying the fitness of 4,000 flight-ready airmen at the 1st Aviation Brigade in Ft. Rucker, Alabama, said that she is concerned that the vaccines can cause inflamed heart muscles in young men in the age range of most flight-ready pilots, and that the Department of Defense has not followed its own protocols by requiring an MRI scan of each airman after vaccination.
...
Because the “vaccines produced by Pfizer and Moderna both have been linked to myocarditis, especially in young males between 16-24 years old,” she states “it is reasonable to conclude that these shots pose a serious risk to many humans due to direct adverse effect or allergic reaction.”
As such, she recommends against requiring vaccinations with either Comirnaty or BioNtech.
...
The colonel filed her affidavit under the Military Whistleblower Protection Act last week as part of a pending federal lawsuit that seeks a preliminary injunction against the shots.
So she's technically a whistleblower. That's a good thing, right?
Fast forward....
"In one morning I had to ground 3 out of 3 pilots due to vaccine injuries"
Lieutenant Colonel Theresa Long, Brigade Surgeon for the 1st Aviation Brigade, Ft. Rucker, Alabama, U.S. Army
In the video, the day after grounding the pilots - those in command pulled her patients and her charts and told her she would no longer be assigned to work with acute patients.
It is so difficult today to know what the truth is. Here is an article that claims that Lt. Col. Long claimed that a COVID vaccine includes an ingredient found in antifreeze.
It is so difficult today to know what the truth is. Here is an article that claims that Lt. Col. Long claimed that a COVID vaccine includes an ingredient found in antifreeze.
But my question is this -- If she is crazy and/or an idiot, then how did she become an Army Brigade Surgeon in the first place?
So instead of simply calling someone crazy and an idiot - let's educate ourselves a little first.
In your article...
The vaccines do not contain antifreeze. Long, like many vaccine skeptics and users on social media, claim the vaccines contain polyethylene glycol and that it is an active ingredient in antifreeze.
But, Ethylene glycol is actually the active ingredient in antifreeze. Polyethylene glycol is present in the COVID-19 vaccines. The ingredient is found in many commonly used products such as laxatives and pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
So just from the name - they sound similar. What's the difference?
Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a polyether compound that has a variety of uses and appearances depending on its molecular weight. Polyethylene Glycol is made by polymerising ethylene glycol, the main ingredient in antifreeze solutions, and has a strong presence in the medical industry.
...
While its cousin, ethylene glycol, is toxic to humans, PEG has been “recognised as safe” by the FDA and is classied as non-toxic. With that being said, polyethylene glycol does, like every chemical, have its drawbacks that should be kept in mind when using it directly.
The main issue surrounding PEGs toxicity is the fact that it contains ethylene glycol, a potential carcinogen and toxic substance. Depending on how it has been manufactured, PEG could also contain contaminants like lead, arsenic or 1,4-dioxane. Therefore, it is also worth doing your research before handling pure polyethylene glycol.
So the claim of it being antifreeze is not totally an out of the blue whack job statement because it does contain the ingredients of the substance used in antifreeze. I am not making the claim, but I am not an expert. But I am making the case that it's not some wild unsubstantiated claim.
