Voting on those two measures, even if it falls short of passing both bills, would offer Democrats a way to show progress after yet another day of uncertainty and gridlock amid reluctance from a handful of moderates to vote on the social spending package without a full analysis from the Congressional Budget Office.
"We're gonna go and vote on the bipartisan infrastructure [bill], and we're gonna vote then on the rule," said CBC Chairwoman Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio).
Progressives say NO, we won’t do that. Probably depends on what the real Speaker of the House (AOC) decides.
It’s beyond stupidity for anyone to vote on a bill they haven’t read, they did not get 72 hours to read it and they added 1,000 pages over night + there is no study by the CBO on the cost of this porculous Boondoggle.
One of the things they added back, from what I read this morning, is a 50% payroll tax credit for media firms ONLY.
Highly unethical IMO.

Fine print in the pre-k is that the pre-k teachers will have to have degrees.
Nancy just did a press conference - she is going forward with the Vote on Infrastructure despite the Progressive group saying they won’t support it.
That means that Pelosi is counting on Republicans to pass the bill.
It’s not a good enough bill to pass, less than hslf of it has anything to do with roads and bridges …. But the Republicans who will support it are mostly those who are not running in 2022 because they couldn’t get elected. Hope I’m wrong about thst.
It was the Congressional Black Caucus that came up eith the plan and talked Nancy into it.
They said poor Brandon has to have a win of some sort this week.
