There was alot of very shameful discrimination in the South towards Black Americans back in the 1950s but the majority of majority Black cities had a fraction of the homicide rates back then.
Interesting, how overwhelmingly Black Birmingham, Alabama had much, much, much homicides rates in the 1950s and 1960s compared to 2020.
Birmingham, AL in 1950 had 300,910 people and 44 homicides with a homicide rate of 14 per 100,000 people
Birmginam, AL in 1967 had 340,000 people and 56 homicides with a homicide rate of 16 per 100,000 people
Birmingham AL in 2020 had 200,000 people and 125 homicides with a homicide rate of 62 per 100,000 people.
Black Single Parent Households went from 20% (1950s) to 70%(2020). No Fathers in households + Start of Feminism and this is where you end up. Add in low frequency violent music, glorified thug culture, unhealthy consumption habits (processed food/drugs) and you have **** show.
No BLM protests or marches on this. They sure are not going to burn down cities to call attention because of this but a violent criminal gets killed by 1 cop, it's all hell breaks loose and he gets a statue.

So what is your point, exactly, in calling out “majority black” Birmingham in your thread title? Are you trying to say that blacks are inherently violent? Are you saying that they were better off when they were segregated and had to ride in the back of the bus? What?

Well, they weren't any peaceful back in Africa, where they were "free" but the numbers speak for themselves.

Who is they? Which ethnic groups/tribes are you referring to? What were the numbers for the ethnic groups?
Are those the ethnic groups/tribes these people descend from now?
