The deranged looney tunes whining a black person wasn't chosen as mayor. No wonder our country is going down the toilet.

Boston scored a twofer this year when it elected Michelle Wu as mayor. She is not only the first woman in the city's history elected to the office, but she will also be Boston's first nonwhite mayor.

And that's not good enough, say "anti-racist" activists quoted this week by NPR. Real racial equality won’t be achieved until a black person takes the job — because Asians apparently don’t count.

Indeed, for the race-obsessed Left, Asians apparently come with a big, fat asterisk when it comes to racial diversity and equality.

The racist card is dead.

The time is long past to throw the hand of dismissal with a nod of derision to the "cry wolf" woke whiners.

So ridiculous. And then people wonder why others feel like the racial bean counters on the far left are ruining this country. To be clear, I’m totally OK with ensuring that voices are heard and represented and I’m OK with efforts to increase the level of diversity (whether it’s cultural, or by gender, or whatever) in elected office and beyond, but the far left always finds a way to take things too far to the point where everyone is turned off.

asians are now 'white-aligned' or some such idiotic thing. leftists' idea of 'diversity' is very convoluted and hypocritical.

for example, an all-muslim city council in detroit is considered the epitome of 'diversity'

These people need to be institutionalized. They’re crazy. They don’t belong on the streets.

Qualified Asians aren’t allowed to obtain political power at the expense of token black people. How dare these Asians prosper in this racist country.

Signed,

Democrats.

it's only whispered about, but most people are aware that lots of Blacks hate Asians, and vice versa.

Asians work too damn hard anyway. And their damn kids study too much, ruin the grade curve and then add insult to injury, hog all the valedictorian and salutatorian speeches.

The big problem with Anglo Saxon social justice which is pioneered in the United States is that they look down and blacks and native Americans due to historical legacies and do not look down at Hispanics and asians who to them uphold white supremacy. Lol. And the thing is this. Anglo Saxon social justice activist are not bad people. They mean well. But many are in this deep toxic soup of Antiracism, feminism, pedagogy. And I agree. Racism sexism is wrong and children should liberated. But not every black person experienced certain things that some blacks who have trauma and pain over slavery and Jim crow which is passed down through lived experiences. Also remember that America is a changing nation. If you dont Hispanics, asians and black immigrants at the helm of this nation. If you Han join the white racists and cloae down the damn borders and fetish and drowl over a black American or native American politician while sipping your organic farm to table coffee.
