Former president Donald Trump is suing to block the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol from receiving records for its inquiry into the events of that day as well as Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.
Trump and his attorneys argue that the records requests are overly broad and have no legislative purpose, and they criticize President Biden for not asserting executive privilege to block the handover of those documents.
Totally the actions of an innocent man.

The appeals court rejected Trump's suit to stop the release of the records. The only place he can take it now is to SCOTUS.

That Trump is such a worm.

The fact is, the white house records belong to the American people, that is why they have been archived to begin with.

Trump wants to prevent the American people from seeing what belongs to them.

Why do we care? They have his speech, word for word that he gave to the crowd on January 6th and anything beyond that is an attempt to garner outrage. The Dems are already outraged so what will further investigation do except to keep that TDS burning?

If only they would investigate Biden like they do with Trump. They could start with that laptop.

The only TDS is Trump claiming he won an election which he lost by millions of votes and his followers believing him. Talk about deranged!

Didn't the previous administration and House & Senate Republicans look into that laptop -- and they didn't seem to pursue it.

Wonder why?

Further investigation will reveal if there was a plan or if this is actually just something that spiraled out of control.

It is entirely possible to deliver words that, on their face, look completely innocent but in context and knowing motive, absolutely may not be. The line "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" is a classic example.
