Wow time flies. With all the spending bills being signed into law, Biden has forgotten the CRA ends in less than 2 weeks and the debt ceiling needs to be raised.

We ready to see the panic as approval numbers continue to fall for Biden as inflation soars. The new budget crisis will not help Biden’s falling poll numbers….

I hope zero Republican Senators vote for it and Giggles has to cast the tie breaking vote.

Brandon's not worried. As long as he gets his oatmeal in the morning and apple sauce at night, he's as happy as a clam. This is just another new toy to distract us with for awhile, as the nation's decline accelerates. Thanks Brandon

Screw the shutdown. That's like getting a pair of plaid socks and a fruitcake for Christmas. I was hoping Santa would give us an early Christmas present and sink the entirety of Washington DC into the Atlantic Ocean.

But it is a shame that Poopy-Pants is worried. I hear that causes constipation in the elderly suffering from dementia.

We need the shutdown. Best rule is “only essential employees go to work”

*whitehouse stays home…..*

Biden worried about government shutdown in 13 days

Could be the best thing that's happened to the country in a long time.

Nothing says "holiday season" like the annual rising of the debt ceiling.

Happy Holidays everyone...

Could be the best thing that's happened to the country in a long time.

Keep in mind that when "the government shuts down", the government doesn't shut down. "Essential services" continue - National defense, foreign relations, Social Security, border protection (what little hasn't already been shut down for months by Joe Biden), law enforcement, air traffic control and others.

It makes you wonder why the government is performing the "other services" at all. Perhaps we should simply keep them shut down even after the financial crisis lifts. The states and localities can pick up the ones that they actually think are important enough to carry - and pay for.

Keep in mind too, that the poor, suffering Federal workers who get "laid off" for the duration of the supposed "shutdown", are in reality on a fully paid vacation. They have always gotten all their back pay as soon as more funds are voted in... without having to do much of the missed work to earn it.
