Simple One: We have a oil crisis because the Biden administration stopped several pipelines from moving crude to the refinery, stopping several new leases on oil exploration, stopped oil fracking on public lands.
Two: 50 million barrels released from the oil reserve is about three days worth...the US uses about 18 million a day.
The Biden administration released the oil for nothing but political reasons because of his falling poll numbers.
Real Clear Politic which is an average of numerous polls.
^^ didn’t bother to read through it. But I’ll guess it’s all wrong.

We have prices issues because US production declined by millions of barrels per day under trump after corona slowed us down and the Russians and Saudi’s got into a pissing contest over oil prices.

Biden halted new permits on public land, doesn’t really matter. 95% of oil is from private land.

The keystone pipeline had nothing to do with oil for us. It was about exporting trash Canadian tar oil.

Demand is back from consumers as we use more and more of it again. Projects that were shuttered during the slowdown take months to re start when they decide to bring them online.

Bottom line is oil production has increased since Biden took office. It’s still lower than the peak under trump… but higher than when he left office.

Your post is full of nothing more than fear mongering and misinformation.

What's 50M barrels? 2 days worth of oil at our rate of usage?
This is just a way for the administration to say, look we did something.

What would happen if we removed the sanctions on Venezuela, with the largest reserves of oil in the world?

Sanctions don't work, we end up punishing the people in Venezuela and punishing ourselves as well.

I do give Trump credit for, at least, trying to remove Maduro, and it came so, so close, by a hair, that he wasn't removed.

Unfortunately, Cuba supports Maduro as they get cheap oil from Venezuela.

As expected you make no attempt to provide a counter point. You just engage in ad hominem attacks on a post you disagree with or which is counter to the narrative you’re blindly accepting. This to me means that you have no counter to offer whatsoever.

How long do I stay engaged with an idiot before it's obvious he's and idiot and just keeps repeating talking points? I get stubborn, but I don't understand hardheadedness.

This is squids MO, but thanks for your CNN like analysis.

You should read the article you posted and tell us why this is a Biden generated problem as indicated in the title. Did he start the price wars with Saudi Arabia and Russia or is he holding back production. Our demand is much higher than our previous production, that is a large reason why we are seeing rising prices.

And so you respond with more ad hominem attacks. I guess that is your MO?

Is Biden on a beach somewhere? Is Biden out of touch with America?

Biden hasn't had to pay for a tank of gas, much less pump it himself, in something like 50 years. What does he know, or care, about gas prices?
