This is how you can tell you're a liberal - taking everything literally - the price he mentioned was before he added a tip - he didn't mean that he didn't leave a tip. It's like saying it was $9.99 before taxes.

Everyone is being impacted, we’re in the middle of a pandemic with alarmingly unnecessary lockdowns.

Check your portfolio if you don’t think Biden’s choices have consequences.

I guess you must be talking internationally since I'm not aware of lockdowns taking place in the U.S. currently. Somehow, I'm thinking the people complaining about this probably don't have "portfolios" if they're stressing over annual increases of roughly $500 in gas. And as many have stated in this thread, many are not all that impacted by food increases.

Prices have risen. So has my income. I'm ahead of where I was at this time last year.

X2

For all practical purposes, there are no universally applied lock downs and for the most part; no one is losing gobs of return on their retirement investments - unless of course they are putting their faith in riskier crap shoots to begin with.

I'm living among a huge demograph of older people and they are all expressing their investments have performed well of late.

Actually the poster's follow up, did imply he did not leave a tip.

Indeed, looking at the DJIA in the 3rd week of January, it was about 31k. As of Friday, it was just under 35k, so over a 10% increase. Albeit, as stated, the people complaining about this stuff are probably not the type that have some huge portfolios of stocks.
