I was right here the whole time keep the truth front and center dealing with lies posters like yourself were advancing.

I was speaking to the virus, people aren't moving to FL because of DeSantis record on Covid, it's retirement for warm weather, cheap real estate and low taxes. That has always been the case.

You don't think a state which has more people and a 50% higher percentage of elderly is going to be hurt more? LOL
The post I was responding to indicated "Florida got it right from the start", they did not and now you're quoting the current 7-day average. LOL

Not at the current levels. Ignoring reality like you do is a form of political Anosognosia.

People love freedom. Florida is a very free state. For the first time in Florida's history... there are now more republicans then democrats. This speaks to the 'change' and the 'new' reality, that people who love freedom are moving here.. Covid just made the whole circumstance/reasons more transparent. Who doesn't know at this point, that the dems are using Covid to increase dependency on government? anyone? in addition to serving their political purposes when is serves their false narrative. Florida will never allow the Faucian medical dystopian state.... never.

Here's a quote from the fake news... Despite criticism from liberals for its laissez-faire approach to COVID-19, Florida has been “booming,” according to CNN, and the state’s success is “a vindication for their policies.”

Make Covid political and you'll get a full share of reality.

Cuomo underreported covid deaths by a LOT, especially the nursig home deaths that he caused:

https://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs...vernment-shows

#3 in deaths, and cases, AND #3 in population, PLUS Florida has the 2nd oldest population, so Florida has performed better than they should have for being the 3rd most populated, & 2nd oldest state.

Come on down & tell the Millions of Northerners who fled their states to come to Florida, that Florida is worse off than New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, & other Northern states. They came here in droves, and most of them stayed, and are still here. They'd all disagree with you about Florida's covid performance. Look at DeSantis's approval stats over the past 6 months...up, up, up.

Meanwhile, back in New York, Cuomo was forced out fo office over sexual harassment. IMHO, that was just a head fake to avoid thousands of covid lawsuits claiming gross negligence. I have no proof, but why did all those women come forward when they did? The timing of it all smells like dead covid victims....way too convenient.

Many of the Notherners are just now beginning to travel back North for the Holidays...but then returning.

In all my years of living in Florida, I've never seen more Northerners here, as we've had during covid.
Try to focus on the issue we are debating rather than adding in your rants about Cuomo and northern migration, the issue is Florida's performance.

Yes Florda has a slightly older population, does it have hundreds of miles of subway and train systems connecting major airports, density like NYC.

Yes Florida is doing well over the past month and NY is ticking up, where were you when Florida was setting records last summer or do you only want to hear good news.

I went to the gym yesterday here in Florida. At least 100 people there working out. No member or employee was wearing a mask. In Florida we have our freedoms. We can go about our day without being told what to do. I can't wait to vote for DeSantis again!

Mental illness is to claim that all freedom is good and restrictions are the work of the devil, obviously many health experts and local governments in Florida are not satisfied with their policies.

Maybe some of the posters should work for the Florida tourism board, you seem to deflect to that when the topic is Covid.

The Florida tourism board doesn’t need more help at the moment. I’d be happy if the Northerners stayed in their blue state dumps, especially the liberal ones.

Maybe DeSantis should ban entry to people from NY.

Enjoy Long Island. I lived there for over 40 years. Enjoy your 15k to 25k taxes a year on your 60 to 80 year old beat up house. Enjoy having corrupt politicians tell you what to do and how to do it. I have lived in Florida for the past 7 years and there is no comparison. Much better here any day of the week.
