Then you have to remove federal disincentives and barriers to work. You have to remove vaccine mandates for private companies. Both of these drive up labor costs, which further fuel inflation.

The government has to stop deficit spending and printing money to cover deficit spending. That adds to inflation and crowds out funds for private investments.

That would be a start.
The Keystone XL Pipeline expansion was for Canadian tar sand oil for export to other countries. Was not projected to have any impact on US gas prices.

There is no vaccine mandate in force. Even the one that is hung up in courts has the alternative of testing instead of vaccination.

Republicans love deficit spending too. No hope in reigning that in with them.

Why are you deflecting?

The Democrats don't care about the National Debt when they are in power, and their "Build Back Better" plan is full of tax cuts for the rich, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Why aren't you calling out their hypocrisy?

George Bush's last budget he signed was a deficit of $459b. It was only that high because the Democrats took back the House and immediately raised spending. Bush's last budget deficit with a Republican House was $161b, down from the previous years and trending lower every year. Barrack Obama's first budget he signed was a $1.413t deficit. The first time the U.S. ever had a budget shortfall of over $1t. After that he had three more deficits of over $1t. Only the Republicans taking back the House and introducing the Sequester brought the deficits back to reasonable levels.

Trump's last budget was an eye-popping $3t deficit, but it came from the Democrat controlled House. It did pass overwhelmingly, 92-6 in the Senate and 359-53 in the House. Almost all the no votes were Republicans and a Republican shaped relief bill would have been $1t less.

You saying the Democrats are fiscally conservative when they are not in power?

It's the Republicans who claim to be fiscal conservatives when not in power but spend like drunken sailors when in power. Reagan put us all on this path of overwhelming irresponsible deficit spending which was only briefly turned around when Clinton was president and bipartisan voting was more commonplace.

Well, I'd say that reopening the Keystone Pipeline, and allowing fracking and other gas/oil drilling and production in the US again, making the US independent ( not dependent on the Middle East for fuel). Losing some of the myriad picayune regulations imposed on businesses and industry that hamper their productivity and contribute to less employment. For starters.

Those measures worked well for a thriving economy, record unemployment in the years of the Trump administration. You might have even noticed that had you not spent all your time buying into democrat left wing fabrications, denying the accomplishments, and whacking at the "Orange Man Bad" pinata created for you by his detractors.

What point are "suggestions"? TeamBiden and his Merry Band of Leftists are going to do whatever they please. Point is -- We had no inflation in 2020 and now we do. This isn't Rocket Science, we had an entire change of Administration that got out a Giant Erasure and are now stuck with their actions.

The question should be, how are the dems going to handle inflation, since own the house and senate.

I'd say, let the dems have what they want, pass this current bill and let the inflation run wild.
They actually worked fast to get this Disaster going - worst since the Carter Years and after 50 years that Horrible Inflation/Stagnation STILL hangs around his neck.

They will do none of that - and all this whine-whine-whine from the Leftist Echo Chamber about "what are your suggestions?" is ridiculous. There is really ONLY one thing that will help - same thing we did when Carter was in Office ..... VOTE them all out and get somebody with a Brain and not a Far Leftist Agenda to fix the Mess. There is plenty to try and fix now and it's only going to get worse.
