The Liberal politics are a contributing issue, but the bigger issue is related to Blacks involved in this violence. Blacks are only about 27% of the population, yet over 90% of the violent crime and videos like these that you see involve Black people. So there is a cultural component to this as well.
The Liberal policies are not causing violence in Whites, Hispanics, or Asians. In fact, Hispanics are the perfect case study in Chicago. They are roughly 30% of the population and live in very similar socioeconomic neighborhoods as Blacks, yet have far lower crime. In fact one neighborhood, Lawndale is split into North and South Lawndale. North Lawndale is 90% Hispanic, South Lawndale is 90% Black.....you want to guess which side is the much more violent and rougher side......
My point is that, a lot of the talk related to Chicago is about liberal politics that is hurting the city, which is true. But the uncomfortable truth is that Black people are causing the vast majority of this crime. The Liberal policies aren’t affecting any other racial/ethnic groups when it comes to violence, besides Black people. This is the same with several other major cities like Baltimore and others.
Very good point. Same with the so-called “gun violence” and how “guns need to be banned.”
Funny how gun violence doesn’t seem to be a problem among Asians even though they live in the same country, with the same laws and same access to guns as Blacks but they don’t have a problem with gun violence.

^ Correct. Hundreds go on a wilding spree but only several are arrested and those are quickly let go. The Democrat DA will either not prosecute or give them plea deals to essentially a slap on the wrist. There is absolutely no consequences to committing crime in Leftist cities especially if you are black.

Yep. Lightfoot had a specific initiative this past summer to redistribute resources and matte officers away from downtown. Those actions have had a direct negative impact on the safety of downtown. The lower police presence has enticed the packs of teens to congregate downtown like they never did before. When Rahm was mayor, there was a much bigger police presence downtown and downtown remained very safe and vibrant, with violent crime and packs of teens being a very rare sight. All that has changed with Lightfoot and Kim Foxx. Downtown was the driving force of Chicago, despite the crime statistics. With these incidents, even that is beginning to crumble and many of the good citizens are looking to get out.

The Black UNDERCLASS is the other side. You don't see these levels of violence taking place in middle upper class Black neighborhoods. Mostly poor Black neighborhoods. And not just in Chicago. Poor Black areas in Fort Worth, a Republican-led city in death penalty Texas, are seeing rapid spikes in their murder rates between 2020-2021. Fort Worth used to be called "Fort Murderworth" during the 1980s-1990s.
The question is this. What is causing the UNDERCLASS portion of the Black population to be responsible for the lion's share of murders, mostly against other Black people? And why are some places (Chicago, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, St. Louis) worse than others (Charlotte, Raleigh, Atlanta)?
