Why can’t the following activities be legalized/unrestricted in the U.S.? Because freedom right?

1) Recreational drug use
2) Prostitution
3) Playing online poker for money/online gambling
4) Abortion

Because freedom, am I right?

Ask your local neighborhood politician.

I have no problem with any of those activities you listed. Just because I probably won't partake doesn't mean I want it banned. That's leftist logic.

Mainly because these things are addictive and lead to a general lowering of public morals and values.

And why would you want to gamble anyway? You're just going to lose your money. LOL

Don't care about the first three as long as nobody's being harmed and the debauchery doesn't bleed out of their own circles.

As for #4, it wouldn't even be on the list if you supported freedom yourself.

Just curious - do you genuinely not understand the pro-life position? Or do you deliberately ignore the core premise as you argue against the position, like most pro-choice people do?

1. I am for recreational use, but also not all or even most of the illegal drugs. Some, like meth, are highly addictive and should not be legal, and there are too many idiots now doing it while being illegal.

2. All for prostitution.

3. All for gambling.

4. All for abortion, to the point I think the gov should provide it, and birth control, free for everyone in easy access locations.

Online brokerage accounts are legal. Thats as close to online gambling as I want to get. Retail gambling is for the mathematically challenged. Oddly havent had any great right wing desire to prostitute myself for that extra pocket money. And govt is giving me free covid shots, what do I need recreational drugs for?

Sure why not legalize all of that but then again people have shown that they cannot control themselves so there will be a time, like a purge, where overdoses spike etc..

I say legalize them all because society is heading down the crapper anyways and at least people will be happy as they circle the bowl.
I am not into any of those but allow me the Freedom to protect myself with a gun if one of those drug addled gambling addicts come to my house to steal to pay off his debt and get his prostitute girlfriend an abortion. Oh wait we already have that "Freedom" guaranteed as a Right in the Second Amendment but a certain party wants to remove that Freedom ?

Freedom is not Free especially when a group tries to take it away from you.

The 1st 3 are highly addictive.

It can be destructive but it should be your choice in America. However services should be set up for those who need help if they over do it.
