Jews get themselves expelled from all over the place. Shepardic Jews are from the Iberian peninsula.
The Iberian Peninsula didn't improve itself by expelling Jews. It is a rather impoverished place. I do have trouble following and understanding that post.
(sigh)Blew right past my point witch was right in the next sentence, which was also quite short. So, let me spell out my heartburn with the Israelis and how they are not even above killing non Jews (actually there were Jews involved) even their own allies and benefactors to suit their own ends. USS LIBERTY. And there are other incidents which were just easier to cover up but just as severe.
So you reckon that Israel, in the middle of a 6-day war against Jordan, Syria and Egypt, intentionally started a war with their biggest ally? Because, what? They had some free time on their hands and had nothing else to do?
No, obviously they were incredibly stressed and seeking out enemy ships and they screwed up.
Quote:
IAF fighter/attack aircraft (F4Phantom 2s supplied them by the US) strafed and rocketed an intelligence gathering and communications vessel of the US Navy. And blamed it on the Egyptians so as to involve the US in their wars with Arab nations.
No they never blamed it on the Egyptians, and I doubt you have any credible reference that says they did. In fact they immediately fessed up to it when they realized their mistake.
"At about 4 pm, two hours after the attack began, Israel informed the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv that its military forces had mistakenly attacked a U.S. Navy ship. " Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident
The NSA has released previously classified information that says that it's own communication failures with the US Liberty contributed to the disaster.
"The Israeli attack on the U.S.S.Liberty some 14 years ago was, indeed,a
wrenching experience for U.S.Sigint agencies. The loss, particularly in the case of those Sigint
specialists who gave their lives or were wounded, was difficult to accept. The knowledge that the
tragedy resulted not only from Israeli miscalculation but also from faulty U.S.communications
practices was even more difficult to accept."
I am no expert on this issue: the history of Palestine pre-1948, Palestine before Zionism Israel. But clearly Israel was carved out of greater Palestine without regard for indigenous Palestinians....the region of Palestine, defined as the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. There is little to no way to argue that Palestinians were not the then indigenous . Where should we go back and set the clock to is apparently of much debate. But then to be intellectually honest we need to consider that in all political/tribal/national/dynastic boundaries for the history of man globally. Or at least some justification of why to chose some date other than 1948.
Well why don't you mention the Kingdom of Jordan which was part of Eastern Palestine as per the British Mandate? The majority of Jordan's population is Palestinian Arab but its royal family is Saudi Arabian. (Before 1948 the term Palestinian referred to the Jews living there!)
The Palestinians were there before the Jews began relocated from Europe in the early 20th century. Of course the Jews believe they have divine right to that land and were there before.
This isn't accurate. There was a constant Jewish presence in the area in the 4 holy cities of Jerusalem, Hebron (until the Arab riots against the Jews in 1929), Safed and Tiberias throughout the ages. More Jews starting returning to the area in the late 19th century during the "First Aliyah".

Why is it that the Jews are the only people to whom people object to their having a homeland?
"I swear to God that America will not live in peace before peace reigns in Palestine, and before the army of the infidels depart the land of Mohammed." -- OBL
Of course Bin Laden would be in full agreement with the American Left
Well then, the Jewish word is "gentile." No the Jews do not chant in the streets and openly (operative word) wish death upon non Jews. No all non Christian people are not the same, and yes I know that. However the Israelis are not one bit above killing non Jews themselves and exploiting (or attempting to) those deaths by blaming their enemies. Does the USS Liberty ring a bell?
No, I don't view the Israelis the same as Muslims. Neither do I hold them in higher regard. Just for different reasons.
Never took you for a Leftist, but you are in their camp on this one.

Seems that many in Israel object to Palestinians having a homeland. You know, the indigenous people who have always lived on that land. Why do you not have a concern about that?

How many Arab and/or Muslim states are there in the world? How many Jewish states are there in the world?
