It is good to know how voters really feel.

It may be uncomfortable but I don’t see a big issue with it.
Adults should stand by their principles and be free to express why and how they came to their opinions.
As long as it isn’t violent or unlawful then I want to know and appreciate anyone who will take the time to explain it to me.
I respect that you rather not hear about it.

We've had very uneducated people long before this. We've had schools be tough on kids. It didn't solve all the problems. America's problems have been going on for over a century. And it isn't just from the schools. It's so many facets of society.

They don't "want them there" because they aren't offering any tangible benefits to them. If the GOP adopted a "socialist" platform and stayed right socially w/o the racism and ultra religious stuff(Blacks and Hispanics are socially conservative) they'd rule the country for MANY years.
Trump also retweeted a tweet from a Neo-Nazi account that put up falsified statistics about Black crime. That right there was enough for me to think "Trump's a racist".

I view Blacks not voting Republican in large numbers like this. Middle and upper class Blacks aren't voting Republican in large numbers either.

I think about the top 10 richest Black communities in America. None of them are ran by Republicans. None of them are even in Republican states. Most are either in California, Maryland, or New York, as Democratic as they come.

I don't even think it's about a socialist platform. There is a view that the GOP, in general, doesn't have much empathy in terms of some of the issues many Black Americans might have to deal with. The message of "rugged individualism" hasn't attracted many Blacks into the GOP fold.

I know about Cuba's history. I am speaking from a position of historical facts. Until you can prove me wrong, just admit that you didn't like what I had to say.

It's not about what I would rather not hear. I don't want them influencing impressionable young minds with their poison. Anyone alive since the former USSR existed, knows first hand what a horrible catastrophe this system of government is. History repeats itself because people forget over time.

Showing some people the USSR won't be enough to get them to vote Republican. Some people just don't trust the GOP, for their own reasons.

I wasn’t talking about getting people to vote for the GOP. I was talking about making the democrats sane again.

Young people should vote for the leaders they want, even if I disagree.
The progressive agenda is attractive to them not because of any lies being told, but because it is the type of government that they want to live with.
Sane is in the eye of the voter.
I have had too many political discussions with brilliant, successful and idealistic young people and I get why they vote this way. They may change their minds as they get older, but these are well educated, thoughtful and responsible people who are clear about what they don’t like in the way the country is being run now. Many are just as disgusted as you but for totally different reasons.
I know some here think it is only a vocal minority but I don’t think so, and these folks vote, financially contribute and are activists more so than the older generation of voters.
