Assembly Bill A416, Allows the Governor to imprison without trial anyone she considers a threat to public health.
Wow, I never thought I would live to see the day this kind of totalitarianism would come to the U.S. This stuff only happened under Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc. type regimes.

All our forefathers and every single military person that gave up their lives fighting for this country will be rolling in their graves.

The scary part is that the liberal mainstream media would never show this to the public (at least not making a positive spin on it first) and so many will continue to think their Democrat officials are doing good for them. Truly frightening.

Apparently the desire for nannies is at all time highs in NY

Tyrants right in front of our eyes. Just going to imprison people at their whim, are they? "...imprison without trial...", how is that even Constitutional?

No wonder I've been seeing so many NY license plates where I live. I can tell you, people are leaving...fleeing. They better not bring their dumb voting choices that ruined NY to other states. Learn from this, NYers.

I suspect, not having read the bills, that any "compulsory" requirement is limited to those "Persons" who gave consent, and not "anyone" or "whoever" (Legal speak for "everyone").
Instead of "leaving NY", one might explore leaving the Peoples Democratic Socialist Republic by withdrawing from Socialist InSecurity (FICA) - it's 100% voluntary, in case you didn't know.
If a substantial number LEAVE, and cease exercising revenue taxable privileges, the drop in revenue and "subjects" to rule would shatter the PDSRA.
Under the republican form, all men are created equal and have Creator endowed rights that governments were instituted to secure - not grant, tax, restrict nor trespass. Only those who consent to be governed would be subject to and object of their legislative authority beyond securing rights.

Citizens are not supposed to obey laws like that...its the publics responsibility to not obey laws that violate Constitutional rights, if we obey them, we are no better than those that created the laws, or the cops who enforce the laws.

It might be worth recalling the Pfizer has its legal domicile in New York.

Monopoly is more efficient than competition, from the point of view of the monopolist of course.

Good Luck!

I grew up on the east bend of the north fork of Long Island when it was nothing but potato fields and duck farms. Now it's condo's and sod farms. Thanks to the city folk who killed a beautiful place to live. I got out for good in 1990 and never looked back. Enjoy your tyrrany. You'll all bend over and take it like you always do.

Difference is - people have a choice to get it in Florida. I'm heading to Al and am not afraid.
