$33,000 per household on health care, but will be close to $50,000 by 2028 per household and yet it's unlikely the health care system will change and will likely get more and more overwhelmed with the tens of millions likely to advance in their BMI index and tens of millions of baby-boomers aging quickly.

4.1 trillion dollars spent yearly on health care and 123 million households so that equates to $33,000 per household is spent on health care.

The projections are 6.2 trillion in health care spending in 2028 or by 2028 nearly $50,000 per household on health care.

Saw this map here in many counties are likely to have overwhelmed hospitals.

Right now, there is more than average need for hospitalization due to covid. It's not fair to make conclusions using recent data. Overall, though, there is concern for rural areas. Many health care facilities are closing due to financial issues.

Doesn't matter what the government invests in health care if people are not willing to observe best practices and take some responsibility for their health.

Oh but they do. The US is #1 for the percentage of its population on prescription drugs.

Here in the US...."we got a pill for that".

They also often have a shot or vaccine "for that" but again people have to take some responsibility for their own health...

Obama and the Democrats said that Obamacare was the solution to fix all our healthcare ills. It’s now worse than ever with ever rising costs and declining quality.

If you want to know why your healthcare is so expensive and why it sucks so bad, follow the money. Obamacare was largely written by industry lobbyists. If we really want efficient, effective, and accessible healthcare, we are going to need to enact a single-payer system. Anything else will continue to perpetuate the waste and fraud that we're dealing with today. Medicare-for-all, or something similar, is the the only real solution.
