I bet if you browse back 2 years you'd find people here nervously joking about that very thing. At that point it wasn't unprecedented as we all just got done mocking the Chinese for having their little 'Social Point" system that would affect your ability to travel and purchase.
Not rocket science. Holiday season gatherings and enjoying freedom from tyranny over a virus and variant and mostly affect the elderly. The number of events I attended alone could have spread covid to dozens of people had I contracted it.
It's boostered people like myself feeling like we are invincible and the unboostered that don't particularly care if they contract it. It is what it is. If you are high risk you should be taking precautions.
If I get symptoms I will stay home. If the booster makes it so I don't get symptoms, well so be it.
Because, at long last, we are finally seeing the end of the Covid pandemic, thanks to Omicron. Get the sniffles and get real protection against Delta and other forms of Covid. Omicron is doing something billions of dollars spent on jabs (and tens of thousands of deaths and severe complications from them) and a year of FUD-packing and face diapers have failed to accomplish.
“These results are consistent with Omicron displacing the Delta variant, since it can elicit immunity which neutralizes Delta making re-infection with Delta less likely,” the team of scientists, led by Khadija Khan at the Africa Health Research Institute, wrote in their findings.
If omicron displaces delta and proves more mild than past variants, “the incidence of Covid-19 severe disease would be reduced and the infection may shift to become less disruptive to individuals and society,” according to the scientists’ findings.
The media and politicians need to get in one last orgy of FUD-packing before it's over.
Cases are getting exponentially bigger. I mean what is happening? Are the figures being cooked? Is there more testing?
How many of these cases even have symptoms, and why is the death rate so low?
I think there is a plan to keep COVID a thing forever. Booster shots, masks, and lockdowns are a lifestyle for the elite, and they want to keep it that way. This thing was never going to be temporary.

I doubt it. The majority of Democrats got their fill of the restrictions and closures in 2020 and early 2021 and aren't eager to go back to them, for instance, the gov. of Colorado.
