Who are you favorite news commentators?

More Left: Maureen Dowd. Strong and well known. Has some good articles.

More Middle: Matt Taibbi. Criticizes both sides a lot. Has a podcast with his cohost Katie Halper.

More Right: Megyn Kelly. Seems fair, has common sense, and is strong. Has a podcast.

Disappointed: Sean Hannity. I met him in person like three years ago when I was still in high school and he was an absolute doll. So complimentary to me, we had a conversation and I shyly told him that I can't stand Trump and he was a sweetheart about it. I thought he was the nicest guy. Then I heard him on air while with my parents-in-law and I thought he was way too aggressive and over the top.... Maybe he was having an off day? I don't tune in to him to be fair on how often he is that way.

I like Shep Smith. He mostly delivers the news sans the views.

On air, Hannity is a showman giving his audience of older right-wing politics fans what they want. But he's smart enough not to use that style in a one-on-one conversation with a high school girl.

Brit Hume. And I liked Charles Krauthammer. RIP.

That's not the first time I've heard that. Just remember, he gets paid to act a certain way on television, as that's what brings in the viewers. Though, that's true of most celebrities and newscasters.

Have to concur. Loved his coverage of OJ Simpson. What a brilliant mind, was really saddened to learn of his passing. I still watch his appearances on Conan via YouTube. Timeless.

I like the cast on "The Five". Everyday they talk about current topics. 4 of them are firmly on the Right but they have 1 that is on the Left and it is good to hear a different perspective. What is refreshing is the 4 are respectful of the 1 that has opposing views. Try doing that on shows like "The View".
