Thank you Manchin!

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/man...st-2022-01-08/

WASHINGTON, Jan 8 (Reuters) - U.S. Senator Joe Manchin's $1.8 trillion spending offer he proposed to the White House in late 2021 appears to be no longer on the table following a breakdown between the Democratic lawmaker from West Virginia and the White House, the Washington Post reported on Saturday.

Manchin told reporters this week that he is no longer involved in discussions with the White House and has signaled privately that he is not interested in approving any legislation like President Joe Biden's Build Back Better Package, the newspaper said, citing three people with knowledge of the matter.

Awesome! Great to hear! Stopping the progressive wish list is a positive for our country.

Course not. Biden is a political disaster and Manchin is distancing himself from the stink.

This is not the Titanic sinking slowly for Biden. More like the Hindenburg.

Glad to hear some good news for 2022!

Up next: defeat the voter corruption act, HR1, in the House.

So, basically, instead of standing up to The Man, Manchin maneuvered himself out of any responsibility.

Good. Biden got greedy and got nothing. What's bad for leftists is good for America.

No.... he stood up to the far left wing of his party when they were trying to run the country into the ground and when they refused to moderate back towards sanity, he shut them down completely

Let's just be happy he had the guts to do what is right. He really saved us. Praying Sinema and Manchin shut down the filibuster.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/sen...er-2022-01-04/

Without Manchin's support, Senate Democrats would not be able to muster the simple majority necessary to alter the filibuster, which requires a 60-vote majority to pass most bills. The 100-seat Senate is split 50-50, with Democrats in charge only because Vice President Kamala Harris casts a tie-breaking vote.
Objections from Manchin have also complicated Democratic efforts to pass President Joe Biden's $1.75 trillion climate and social policy legislation.

All I can say is thank God for Manchin. We're very lucky that he is able to stop a lot of the progressives and crazy. I am so glad he is sane.
