Among all the ways that COVID-19 affects our lives, the pandemic confronts us with a profound moral dilemma:
How should we react to the deaths of the unvaccinated?
On the one hand, a hallmark of civilized thought is the sense that every life is precious.
On the other, those who have deliberately flouted sober medical advice by refusing a vaccine known to reduce the risk of serious disease from the virus, including the risk to others, and end up in the hospital or the grave can be viewed as receiving their just deserts.

It should be clear that opposing vaccine mandates as a substitute for opposing vaccination itself is a fundamentally incoherent position.
that's utter BS. one can easily support the choice of getting vaccinated over forced mandates requiring same.
You cannot actually mock a dead person. The dead don't know and have no care. You can, however, mock a fully vaccinated sick person.
Let's mock all of the Countries where there is a higher Covid infection rate of the vaxxed (per capita) than unvaxxed Covid infections. Namely:
Israel
UK
Gibralter
South Korea
Ireland
Seychelles
Iceland, and so on.
I will tell you the UK is a total disaster at the moment. Everyone is taking the lateral flow tests and testing positive and calling off work sick. So we are having shortages in shops for basic foods because there aren't enough delivery drivers, shelf stackers, etc.

I think I recall learning an advanced concept, something along the lines of mocking people doesn't usually make things any better. I believe I learned it sometime around elementary school.

I learned that the only one who looks bad is the one doing the mocking.
