The school is private.

Tuition is $16,500/ year.

Their school. Their rules.

The school appears to value sportsmanship.

Even more humiliating for the crap team.

Evenly matched teams do miss most of their shots. If the gap in athleticism is large enough and the better athletes decide they are not going to let you score you are not going to score

I could understand 94-34, maybe even 94-24, but 94-4?

People need to have their heads checked then for even scheduling this matchup.

Ref's should have called the game after the second period. Sounds like after that point it was just practice shots.

There has to be more to this. Did the losing team just say "F-it" after the first period and sit down and protest?

Seriously, no team sucks that bad when giving their all.

That had nothing to do with my comment about my experience with Catholic HS's loading up on athletes regardless of any morals beyond athletic ability.

Disgrace that he was suspended due to folks getting their feelings hurt. The opposing team could’ve simply forfeited, or here’s a crazy thought, play better.

No they don't. They gave a wrist slap to a highly successful coach because they made national news in a bad way.

They did one of those "oh gosh golly we don't abide by blah blah blah and have suspended him BS acitons"

Now personally, I don't think the guy should be fired but let's not kid ourselves that the school values sportsmanship lol.

Again, most Catholic schools I'm familiar with operate like some sort of college where athletic success brings in the booster money etc. and they go out looking for talent regardless of anything else.

The losing coach is just as much at fault. He could have gone to the ref any time and forfeited.

Talent disparities in girl's basketball can be pretty wide.
