Just in general - I hope and pray for the best for all who have suffered directly or indirectly through family.

I have had no COVID or COVID shots to this point. Throat and lungs feel weird on occasion, but that's about it. In my 50s and no comorbidities.

My daughter is on day four of covid. The main symptom is a sore throat. She had a mild fever one day. That’s all in terms of symptoms. No one else in the family has gotten it yet.

Wow, a superspreader event.

Good thing it's only a 98% survival rate virus.

Most have not tested but they think they had Omicron because it was so bad. How is your family doing? I am wondering if it is colds or omicron but I have a feeling it is omicron.
Uh, yeah.

It's everywhere.

One death out of 50 is terrible odds.

I hate that China let this happen. That country is completely negligent. I hate them.

But it is a worldwide problem now and we need to get serious about beating it. Hate is a distraction. These anti-vaxxers are basically laying down before it, not fighting it. They can only blame themselves now.

They can't say "Yeah, I'm stupid but it's China's fault!"

Our hospitals are choking up from the number of cases they have to minister to, and most of those cases were preventable, but we have idiots talking like a 1 in 50 isn't such a bad risk to take. Actually 1 in 500 is bad odds.

Some one reading this is likely to need hospital care, maybe for an accident or something, and the hospital will have a hard time accommodating them because their hallways are choked up with proudly naïve and gullible people who absolutely refused the simple expedient of a vaccine. This is a tragedy happening in communities across this country, and no small town hospital is exempt.

It is pathetic. I am embarrassed for you, for me, for all of us.

quotes like the above make me realize how this pandemic has really made people hateful and bitter. It's an "us vs them" mentality that so many have now, it's so sad and yes, pathetic.

It was no accident. Fauci and China worked together to create and release it. Why do people keep giving the CCP a pass?

I had Covid, Omicron version. I'm well now, and today is my first day back in the office.

My first symptom was a runny nose. My worse symptoms were sore throat, facial sinus pressure, and extreme fatigue/brain fog. But I also had the night sweats, fever, cough and sneezing.

My husband got symptoms about 3 days before I did. I'm in Missouri.
