....a good read.....“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

"Having fled communist Cuba as a political refugee, I grew up in a school system that created a false reality through Marxism."

"The Castro regime tried to mold us to become what Che Guevara called the “new man and woman” — who could reform their “individual consciousness” to shed their traits of greed, egotism and selfishness to embrace a “collective spirit.”

"Fidel Castro based his Marxist revolution on hate by leveraging upon grievances. As part of that, he waged class warfare, destroyed monuments, policed language and revised Cuban history to undermine our progress with the goal of creating a “classless society” where there was no oppression."

CRT = Race Marxism, a specific type of the general Identity Marxism

Traditional Class Marxism (workers of the world unite, seize the means of production etc..) failed because we grew a happy middle class and the revolution failed in the West (those people are "deplorables" now to these communist wannabes). So they switched focus to using racial and sexual minorities as the new angry & resentful revolutionaries and the idea is to seize the means of CULTURAL production to churn out a new proletariat and overthrow the system so they can, umm, trigger the rainbow utopia full of equal unicorns that poop out soy lattes or something like that.

I was watching a special last night on how the nazi's came to power... it was using the schools to brainwash the children as they were young and impressionable. Hitler youth.

Just like a cult.

Manipulate people psychologically by confusing them about what is real or not, get them to question their identity, and when they are so lost and confused you come in and offer them all the answers and a way out if and only if they go along 100% with the cult's ideology and excommunicate all the apostates form their lives, even their friends and family. The cult becomes the only thing propping them up from a complete mental breakdown

Mao Zedong did the same thing in China, the children became the red guard. They literally turned in their own parents and hung signs on their necks in public squares where they were spit on and forced to confess guilt and privilege

You can't lay that all off on the schools. Parents who have their heads out of their arses would never permit that to happen.

Too many people pay no attention to what their kids are doing at school.

IIRC, Cuban parents were sending their kids off to the Soviets to educate. They thought it was their patriotic duty. Or that may be just some of my JBS indoctrination.

Yet his family likely supported the previous dictator, under whom all manner of injustice (to include segregation) was rife. The CRT debate is largely about whose version of history is preferred, not about the truth.

Interesting, but said political refugee is not describing "Critical Race Theory", a law school elective course that examines how past laws, mainly State, were written in order to deny certain categories (read: minorities) the right to vote. Poll taxes, ability to read, etc.

I think, but am not sure, that it was offered during my time at Texas Tech School of Law in 1982-83. I do not recall the name of this course, of it existed, but I imagine it had 'social' in it.

Regardless, it is not a proper course for grade school, which is why it is not offered in grade school.

Of course it's not 'offered', it's implemented

CRT is a Critical Theory which requires PRAXIS. Praxis is implementing the theory, CRT and Critical Pedagogy is putting into practice the indoctrination into a Marxian view of the entire world
