You need a history lesson. More Blacks died making the journey than jews died in concentration camps. On top of that it was jewish people who helped facilitate the slave trade and then jewish movie studios that helped make things like the kkk popular (birth of a nation).
You really have a one sided view of this, as do most people. And not sure why others are surprised abc did this because jewish people are the one group you cant go against or you'll be fired immediately. many such cases.

No one forgot that part but there was someone on the other end buying them. A large portion of those people were jewish. It's the whole reason why coastal southern towns like new orleans, savannah, and charleston have large jewish populations to this day. The secretary of state for the confederates was jewish (and he fled to london right after the civil war).

Perhaps this is the first time I have ever agreed with you on any issue although admittedly for different reasons. But to your second point yelling that conservatives are the ones who are looking to get her canceled is not really accurate As true conservatives believe in the free exchange of ideas and freedom of speech

You are speaking about the Jewish experience in Germany and then trying to downplay African transatlantic slavery by pointing out how many Africans arrived in the U.S. only. It doesn’t matter how many how many came to the U.S. Transatlantic slavery involved almost the entire of North and South America. Your brother could have died on the way, your sister end up in Jamaica and you in the U.S. Tribal origins are all over and people permanently displaced. Africans were not from one/two ethnic groups. They were not one religion. They were over 40 cultures and multiple religions. Further, other estimates of how many died in the Middle Passage are up to 2 million.
Further you make sure to emphasize those civilians and captured soldiers killed but make sure to limit your numbers discussion about slavery to 12.5 million brought over. You make sure not to mention the millions across North and South America who were born into slavery here and those killed. Neither do you mention those killed in Africa itself fighting off the Europeans.
Instead of just discussing Whoopis inaccurate comment, you all start your racist nonsense and attack what you think is just African-America history, when it is not. Get a hold of your hatred.

I’m no fan of Whoopi. She’s waaay too far left for me, but she has a right to her opinions, and I’d rather know where someone’s coming from than have them pretend one thing, and believe another. It is sort of satisfying when the woke get a dose of their own medicine, though.

I'm surprised to hear that she's only been suspended instead of fired. Has anyone else been suspended lately, instead of fired, for making inappropriate remarks? Sharon Osborne was fired for saying she doesn't think that Piers Morgan is a racist, how was that so much worse than this? Just from seeing a few random clips from the View, I find it hard to believe that this comment stands out particularly for its offensiveness and stupidity.
Whoopie was wrong because she was thinking in the 2022 context instead of the 1939 context. Today, if you don't "look" dark then you're not a POC and you're "white". In 1939 Germany there were "ethnic Germans" and all sorts of other separated "races": Slavs, Russians, Jews, Anglos, etc. Hitler singled out these other races for persecution. But it's hard to blame Whoopie because in today's world those people would not be separated based on "race".
