The day Fox is considered "real Journalists" we may have to re-evaluate if civilization as we know it has ended. But that aside your the only responder to provide a constructive answer unlike the echo chamber counterparts. I knew Barr had ordered the original investigation but his term as AG has ended and I was wondering how Durham could continue.
From your article I gleaned a few things:
"Under U.S. code, the special counsel would produce a "confidential report" and is ordered to "submit to the Attorney General a final report, and such interim reports as he deems appropriate in a form that will permit public dissemination."
"Garland, during his confirmation hearing, said he saw "no reason" why Durham should not continue his investigation, and added that he is "a great believer in transparency," when asked about making Durham’s eventual report public. But Garland said he would "have to talk with Durham and understand the nature of what he's been doing and the nature of his report."
So there shouldn't be any public disclosure unless the the current AG deems it appropriate to release and there's no evidence his office has approved that yet by any public statement.

One was a political hit job and attack on our democracy the other is investigating said hit job after the fact.
True-
In the "Mueller Investigation", the "investigators" already knew that the accusations were a hoax started by
Hillary. The whole purpose was a data mining, fishing expedition to try to discredit Trump, even though they knew he was innocent. So...................................... after THREE YEARS they concluded he was innnocent.
Fortunately for Durham, Mueller uncovered some of the incriminating evidence against Hillary and Obama, but nothing was done about it. In the Durham probe, we have DISCOVERED A REAL, ACTUAL CRIME OF HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE. It is an investigation of the same event, but the liberals do not like the outcome, as it shows that Hillary and Obama committed treason- NOT THE OUTCOME THE LIBS HAD HOPED FOR.
Fortunately, the majority of voters polled (even 65% of democrats) want Hillary (and of course Obama) investigated for their crime and THE TRUTH FINALLY REVEALED. It is disturbing that there are still many democrats who want to prevent the truth from being discovered and maintain the coverup.
Liberals comment on the veracity of the investigation, yet know nothing about it. That is just being lazy and uninformed.
I guess if they were well informed, they would not be liberals anymore.
It's not so much that they're lazy and uninformed. They're scared to death of the truth, so they willingly choose to bury their tiny little heads in the sand and ignore it. Their entire reputation and agenda is based on lies and innuendo. Lies and innuendo that they swallowed up hook line and sinker. Because of their unbridled and passionate hatred of Trump they were more than willing to believe anything that the media made up about him. If the media held Trump responsible for the Holocaust they'd believe it. They wouldn't dare seek out the truth. Now it's come back to bite them in the ass. Good I'm glad, they deserve everything that's coming to them.
Hopefully in November of 2022 and 2024 they and their cohorts in the media will be relegated to the dust bin of history never to arise again.
This may sound weird, but I think a government that allows the former politicians investigations to continue? Is the sort of government I want even if it is moronic and politicized. Hear me out. The WORST abuses will come from a government that immediately stops any investigations into things that were started.
This sort of nonsense may hurt us as a country some, but the government that cancels them will be the sort thats far more harmful.
Mueller investigation: Trying to find a crime, based on falsehoods.
