Portland, OR in just over 6 weeks this year has already tied the total number of homicides in all of 2013 and 2016.

Already, 14 homicides in Portland.

Seem like this year is starting out far wore than last year in large cities throughout the United States.

Many big cities are starting to resemble Columbia in the 1990s or the Tijuana and Juarez recently.

I think we all know it's not going so well in many leftist run cities... But anyone can cherry pick stats to prove whatever point they might like to make.

The way I see it... When the people of Portland have had enough of it, they will either elect competent leadership or leave. Until then, this is what they voted for, and it seems to be the way they like it there. I don't understand it, but whatever, it's their city.

Too bad folks can’t think 5 minutes ahead. They wouldn’t have to learn the hard way and reap what they sow.

Well you demonize the police officers and basically tie their hands behind their backs, what do you expect the end results to be?? Cops are retiring as soon as possible, other officers are fleeing to a less anti police city and now, they can’t find enough QUALIFIED police applicants to fill the depleted ranks that the people of Portland caused, as a collective.

As for all the normal working people, business owners and even your mayor that sided with Antifa/BLM, this is your end results. You had a chance to take back your streets and reinstate law and order, but YOU ALL chose to play Political games with Orange Man Bad and make him your boogie man…. Who are you now blaming now since Orange Man Bad has been gone for over a year now?? Hopefully, you are yourselves for allowing yourselves to be blinded by the BS. By admitting that you screwed up, you can fix it, but if you’re still blaming others, you are equally at fault.

Portland WAS a beautiful city that I visited 2-3 times a year, but like Seattle, my hometown, they also surrendered common sense to play the Orange Man Bad game AND “sheet” is all messed up and out of control here… I only go downtown Seattle Armed since there is no police presence and the criminals run the streets.

Now, that Portland doesn’t have a police force that can restore order, what are you going to do? Are you going to be like the liberals in Seattle that are now buying handguns and AR15s in record numbers since the police can’t even guarantee that they can responses in under 10 minutes to a 911 call?

Yes, more accountability is needed by all police departments…. To include all federal law enforcement like the FBI and ATF, but the people need to hold themselves accountable for not voting for sane and common sense ideals. If not, I highly recommend that you buy an AR15, plenty of ammo and spend some time on the range learning how load, shoot and make it safe. Trust me, 2022 will be worse than 2021.
