While I don't agree with it, I do think, "Hey. That's Canada, not the U.S.". They have different laws there.
That is very dangerous thinking. Laws don't matter when as the President you can create an Executive Order creating their own law. Even if it is later overruled or struck down in the courts, it still had an initial impact on people.
Who is to say that the Biden people are not taking notice of this move by Trudeau to freeze the accounts. Is it that much of a stretch to imagine the Dems doing that to people that donate to unapproved candidates or hated ones like Trump?
