As the world approaches the second anniversary of the declaration of the Covid-19 pandemic by the World Health Organization, on March 11, more nations are rolling out -- or are discussing the possibility of -- fourth doses of coronavirus vaccine for their most vulnerable. In the United States, leading public health officials say they are "very carefully" monitoring if or when fourth doses might be needed.
At this rate it seems every time a new variant comes out we will need a booster. Have any of you got the booster? and would consider getting a fourth one?

But anyhow:
At this rate it seems every time a new variant comes out we will need a booster.
Which is weird, because all of the shots are hyper-tuned to a specific feature of the alpha variant.
Why isn't anyone asking the obvious question? Why is a shot that doesn't prevent infection, doesn't stop transmission and is being sold on the basis that it "reduces severity of symptoms and the number of hospitalizations" being called a "vaccine"?
If you get the smallpox shot, you don't get smallpox. That's the point. Same with chickenpox, tetanus, etc. That's what vaccines do.
What do you call something that reduces symptoms but doesn't stop infection or transmission? Therapy. Medicine. Treatment. Lots of things, but "vaccine" isn't one of them.
It's amazing to me that more people can't see how they're being manipulated, and have been this entire time. Maybe this will help them understand better. Probably not.
I got the booster, no more for me. I got sick again just like after the 2nd vaccine shot. I have heard enough lies from the CDC. Still trying to recover from the booster I got several months back.
I know one person who's gotten a booster shot. Everyone else is just done with it.
