I am sure that China will fight a "Green" war. They are probably getting their solar powered tanks all lined up right along with their wind-powered submarines in the harbors.
If we had a decent carbon fee system that worked, the military would be encouraged to reduce fossil fuel consumption just like the private sector. Political will is the issue.

To a certain extent I agree, there are hypocritical environmentalists. But she is not talking about individual citizens, but an organization whose extremely destructive emissions are being ignored for certain reasons.

Idiocy is destroying our planet. Liberal idiots fail to face THE REAL THREATS TO THE PLANET, as they are not popular issues for which they can get virtue signaling points from their echo chamber lib friends. Libs won't do a damn thing about these real issues, as the would have to make sacrifices that would hamper their social lives.

2. erosion of tillable soil
3. contamination of fresh water with pesticides and fertilizers
4. over-irrigation increasing salt levels of land and depleting aquafirs
5. Dead zones in oceans from ag run off
6. Acid rain
7. Urbanization with encroachment on tillable land and forests
8. "Green energy" initatives killing the rainforests to plant switch grass
9. Unchecked industrial output from developing countries contaminating the air and water
10. Heavy metal contamination from electronics and batteries
Look at all of the oil spilled in the oceans, land destroyed, and contaminants released in ww2. That was all caused BY A LACK OF STRONG MILITARIES IN THE WEST TO OPPOSE HITLER AND TOJO. A strong military is a preventative force for extended, destructive, global war.
Only a liberal would be dense enough to think otherwise.
But she don't, and she ain't, because no aunt could possibly have them. Just as no "carbon fee system" can work (i.e. accurately reflect an actual amount of pollution), or otherwise be anywhere near "decent".
