Finland was invaded by Russia twice during WWII and embarrassed them both times. Because of the neutrality and fears of Russia that came from that they still have a real military. As a NATO member they would be a net positive for the alliance.

And actual conscription except Finns understand and take their training.
cant hurt that the road to the capital is long and full of dense forest on both sides. There would be a Finn with a Javelin behind every third tree.
