It's funny how the lefts argument for everything is "you do it too".

DeSantis could have handled it with more grace. He didn't -- showing his true colors.
This is exactly why he will not do well on the national stage.
It may work in Florida, not so much for most of the rest of the country.
Most don’t like his doubling down, or making dumb excuses, or blaming others, when he is called out for a poor statements.
A smart leader would have explained his statement with more nuance.

That's exactly what DeSantis' argument was in addressing his bad behaviour with the kids.

He would have been better to acknowledge he responded badly & that his intent was to allow the kids to make their own choice...blah blah......

But what did he do -- he pointed out that it was worse to do this or that.

Doesn't matter...he behaved badly, was terrible to those kids -- whether you want to mask or not --- no question.

Oh totally.

I know that, if I were a Democrat (*shudder*) - I would want to run against the guy who's up by 20 points in a swing state.

Covidians have no credibility when it comes to accusing anyone else of "bad behavior" during the pandemic. So, I don't really put much value in what you have to say about DeSantis' comments. You defended the nonsense for 2 straight years.

The guy is an idiot. He had no right to tell those kids that. He is NOT their parent. Maybe they are immo compromised or live with someone who is.

He is another Trump in the making

"Idiot" describes the people wearing cloth masks, not Governor DeSantis.

Don't you all love it when leftists are accusing DeSantis of "bullying" some kids for wearing masks?

Yet, these are the very same leftists cheered on politicians with their stupid mask/vax mandate so kids who aren't vaccinated or wear mask should not attend school in person, or lose their jobs, or can't go inside the store to buy groceries.

I can't make this up.
