India is still on the low end of the development curve. they have a growing middle class, but their poor still vastly outnumber their middle. They can nary afford to stick their neck out to get chopped by the regional super powers. Hard for me to blame them for sitting this one out.

China, otoh, has a solid middle class and a top-3 global military. The only reason they don't step up is because we have been antagonizing them lately with punitive tariffs and such.

Russia's somewhat reliable ally Venezuela was not allowed to cast a vote at the UN because their UN dues are too far delinquent - why am I not shocked about that?

I wonder if Venezuela would have voted with Russia, or would have abstained. I am guessing Venezuela is like Syria, too heavily in debt to Russia to do anything but vote with Russia.

India is free to take their 168th in the world GDP/capita and hitch their wagon to Russia (85) or China (81).

You can add all 3 together, multiply by 20, and still be below the US.

Yes, take 3 BILLION people in the world and they don't produce what 300 MILLION people do.

While you're at it, take their $450B annual defense spending and tell them suck on our exhaust pipe.

This is what a real leader/bully would do.

You cannot compete with us economically.

You cannot compete with us by force.

Leader = let them feel good about negotiating something face-saving.
Bully = go kick India's ass and tell China & Russia to do something about it.

If those 3 countries - and any that choose to "join" them wish to break off and operate under whatever rules they wish - go for it. Their GDP is still less than the US alone.

The rest of us will be more advanced and civilized and not attack each other by force to get our way.

This is why we ARE the world LEADER. When we want, what we say goes. We play nice, we sign treaties and have alliances.

But at the end of the day, what we WANT to say goes.

I see math is not your strong suit.
You can’t even distinguish total from per capita.

Mathematically, it makes zero sense to add three per capita GDPs together.
What are you trying to argue?
China alone has about the same GDP as the US. What do you mean by 3 billion people produce less than 300 million?
Where did you learn math?

The UN humanitarian counsel of nations walked out in mass when Lavrov began to speak, guess which four nations were left, Russia, Venezuela, Iran and Syria.
