Just in case anyone thought Biden declared covid over in SOTU he just asked for billions more in covid money. This has been a giant money laundering scheme and he isn’t going to give it up

Where's the state of emergency?

Everything is open and running and has been since summer 2020.

Who does he want to funnel money to?

I was looking up the most and least corrupt countries and we are supposedly lower on the list...we are just fighting human nature here...the desire to have something for nothing. All the western countries are lower on the list...I guess I better stick with the swamp because the alternatives are not better.

It's ultimately up to the people to keep the leaders in check. It's not surprising that collapses and falls of countries occur with a degree of regularity.

It’s no longer an emergency, it’s a way of life. Covid now needs to be approached like the flu.

Agreed! The new protocol for Covid in this country needs to be everybody has a couple of tests on hand. If they get symptoms they test themselves. If they test positive they take the new therapeutic medication in pill form that we have out now. These are 95 to 97% effective at stopping the virus in its tracks. Pretty simple if you ask me. Everything else needs to go back to normal. Enough of this garbage

In my current part of the world (Los Angeles, California), it is rare to find a pedestrian OUTDOORS who is not wearing a mask. Vagrants wear masks. Folks brazenly jaywalking across a busy street, are duly wearing masks. Guy pulls down his mask to puff from a cigarette... and then reaffixes it. Businessmen, housewives, skateboarders, delivery drivers, folks in medical scrubs, folks in mechanics' uniforms, contruction workers, even beggars with cardboard signs - all, all, all are wearing masks.

Our world is a world of masks. To expose one's unmasked mouth and nose, has become tantamount to exposing one's genitals. It simply isn't done, even by those who otherwise flaunt rules or decorum. It's a new lifestyle, a new societal framework. Emergency? Hah! A new permanent emergency.

Here in rural Missouri, wearing a mask is rare.

Yes it is, no one is wearing a mask where I live, I haven’t seen anyone wearing a mask all winter.
