It doesn't look like anybody has noted this.

Visa Suspends All Russia Operations

Effective immediately, Visa will work with its clients and partners within Russia to cease all Visa transactions over the coming days. Once complete, all transactions initiated with Visa cards issued in Russia will no longer work outside the country and any Visa cards issued by financial institutions outside of Russia will no longer work within the Russian Federation.

Hopefully people realize what's up with this. This is more than some appearance of a protest.

Supersize corporations like this seem to all be in cahoots with each other in groups like the World Economic Forum - who are likely in cahoots with governments around the world.

We have got companies becoming a means of enforcement, and a means of controlling the flow of currency. The precedent is being set were certain behaviors can merit a company taking action that effects regular folks and their ability to buy goods for themselves.

Getting rid of cash as they are slowly doing and moving to cards and other digital currency from supersize corporations means they can control the flow of money at any time. I have been seeing more and more at stores and restaurants... "either exact cash or card only".

Also - VISA doing this with Russia doesn't help the dollar maintain reserve currency status - because it now gives Russia an excuse to do business in other currency systems.

Losers. If only the stupid brainwashed morons of this country would do the same for here.
But no such thing. We’ll all band together to support Ukraine and punish Russia on a biblical level without blinking an eye, but when it comes to being ass raped by our government and politicians, big tech etc, we do nothing. We take it in the rear and complain, that’s it.
So disappointed in the American people.

We knew you hated Republicans and the peaceful protesters for freedom in Canada, but Russian citizens too?

I think its a great response. I would rather see things like this than Americans going off to war. Putin needs to feel endless pain until Russians rise up and remove him.

It's only the first world nations against Russia. The second and third world nations are not part of this. And those second and third world nations control the majority of the manufacturing markets, all thanks to greedy first world nation businessmen who didn't want to pay a living wage for their people in their home countries, or hide behind green energy crap to keep energy production down in their home countries. These sanctions won't last long. Money always talks in the end.

They should’ve just targeted the oligarchs.

But still better than sending in NATO/US troops.

Well, to be honest, credit card companies are evil to a point. The public will rack up huge credit card debt to the point where they can't pay, and then they can turn around and claim bankruptcy to get out of paying them and stick the tax payers who are responsible members of society, with the bill!
