The closer we inch toward election day, the more and more reality seems to be creeping into our politics. First you've got Trevor Noah admitting that Trump wouldn't have let Ukraine happen. Then Bill Maher scolded Democrats regarding their overreaction to the "Don't say gay" bill. (Which ironically says nothing about gay whatsoever, as the word does not even appear in the bill.)

But now, you've got none other than the Leader of the Dems mid-term campaign apparatus saying this:

Quote:
Party leaders often see their role as cheerleaders, but Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-N.Y.), the chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), must be privy to some devastating internal polling because he’s issued a dire warning to his fellow Democrats.

“If [voters] agree with us on the issues, why don’t they like us more?” Maloney asked.
Maloney has an answer, too.

“They think that we’re divisive and too focused on cultural issues. They think that we’re preachy. They think that we act like we know better than parents when it comes to their kids in schools,” Maloney said. “The problem is not the voters,” he admits. “The problem is us.”

Well, I'm afraid that's just too little too late Sean.

And all the King's Horses, and all the King's men...

In November, your Party is goin' down.

I sure hope so. Burn it all down so that every single American not in the ruling class feels the pain. It's the only way to wake people up.

Why is it when a Democrat speaks they are the mouthpiece of ever registered Democratic voter but when a Republican mouthpiece says something it only applies to those that agree with the message while the rest call them out as a RINO or some other name?

Um, he's the head of the Democrats' effort to maintain control of Congress this year.

He has access to their internal polling numbers.

Obviously he knows more than you.

He just said the quiet part out loud.

Interesting observation.
Why is that? Hmmm....

I completely agree with him.

The country is majority democrat, or majority democrat-leaning.

The party, in the last year or two, has become preachy, the leaders largely unlikeable, and are you kidding me Joe Biden was the best we could do as a presidential candidate?

I think he's absolutely spot on. The problem isn't the voters, the problem is that the upper leadership is a party of clowns.

(On the other hand, Republican leadership also seems to be a party of clowns, so there's that, but their far right followers are clowns too so probably that makes for more cohesion).

Maybe because democrats never call out democrats for the dumb things they say?

Why dont you guys start calling your AOC types, DINOs or something like that? Distance yourselves from them like republicans do.

Partisan politics is so entertaining.
The "tax and bribe" faction fights with the "bribe and tax" faction.

The "left wing" and the "right wing" flap and flap, ignoring the fact that they're opposite wings of the same vulture, feeding on America's carcass.

Of course, neither side wishes that the consenting voters discover that they can withdraw consent, and "burn down the tent."

If we hadn't been all nuked and dead by 2022 from Biden's weakness, it's obvious there will be a big red Wave. Dems didn't care to change after they saw what happened last November. Instead of taking a different track and maybe changing things up they continued what they were doing at warped speed. Thank God for Manchin and Simema or else things could have been so much worse. Of course they are in danger. Republicans have got this and I can't wait.

The American people have had enough. No way dems are winning in 2022 or 2024.
