Basically Democrats want oil companies to take the hit for their bad energy policy and bad foreign policy.
That answer is obviously a Big Fat No. But the skoolz have been dumbing down our population for 30-40 years now, this is what you get when you conspire to bring down the greatest civilization in history.
These imbeciles who "want to drive the oil companies out of business" clearly live in a delusional world. They need serious inpatient psychiatric treatment to bring them out of their delusional disorders.
Do you honestly belive that the government will tax anything and pass it on to the people ? This is as stupid as those fools who think there should be a "carbon tax" on businesses and that it will be passed on to the people. The govenment will tax them and keep 99% of the taxes and give you a penny. How can you be so stupid !! When has the government ever distributed any collected tax money to the citizens ? And don't tell me that the "stimulus checks" were collected tax monies. They were newly printed dollars that added to the US debt and started the latest inflation cycle.
Inflation is just another way for the government to *help* you while making everything more expensive and blaming it on everyone else.

Biggest problem in the US is that people THINK they know what they're talking about. The problem with all this empowerment talk. Yep, empower the morons. Even people with advanced degrees with zero real education in finance, statistics....think they know better. Complete arrogance.
I don't know medical science, I stay out of it. But whoa nelly, that doesn't stop the rest of the folks from thinking their degrees know they mean poo when it comes to finance, economics, statistics and so forth.
And what will happen? The oil companies will just raise their price to cover the increased tax liability, thereby passing the tax costs onto the consumer. And these people who come up with birdbrained ideas like this are our rulers. Heaven help us.
Someone has to stop the insanity! It’s not their fault it’s yours for Christ's sake.. the market is reacting to your policies. That what free markets do. This is going nowhere.
