You go ahead and believe Wikipedia if you want. I sure don’t. I told you what my opinion was. You can have a different opinion.
But I don't know the family and the swimmer, so I could not possibly give an opinion based on knowledge.
You said your oldest graduated from the same public high school. They were classmates and must have had friends in common. 600 in the graduating class is not huge.
Did no one in the school know she was transitioning at the time - while in high school?
That is about the size of my children's graduating class, same affluent demographic, and we all knew the top athletes and who was going to the ivy league - and many were.

No transiting occurred in high school. And I haven’t asked my son about any of this. He may have had a class with Lia. I don’t know. Would you like me to ask him?

Lia did not start transitioning until after his sophomore year in college. Not in high school. You keep asserting incorrect information.

If its not too much trouble....
Again, I'm interested.
Thanks
Lia, I mean Will, went to my kids’ high school. Graduated the same year as my oldest. As far as I know he was male through and through from birth until at least 18 years old. Did very well in swimming competitions in high school. Once he started getting his butt whipped in college he conveniently decides he’s a she. Not buying it. How much you want to bet once he graduates he goes back to being Will? He’s gaming the system.
People say this but why would he do it? He’s probably got mental issues, but I do not think he’s doing it to get ahead in the sport. If he weren’t really feeling like he’s trans then this would be embarrassing for him. Who could be proud of beating a bunch of women? I personally think he should feel embarrassed about what he did even if he does think he’s trans, but it would be a thousand times worse to do it just to get to the top of the leaderboard.

These women need to refuse to compete against him.
That is the only thing that will stop this garbage.
And stop hiding. Speak out using your real name. Enough of the hiding in the shadows. if you are truly p-ssed about it, take it on ... head on .. and make it STOP!
So sick of this garbage.
It was their team's school University of Pennsylvania that was going to refer those that spoke out for 'counseling'/ an re-education camp.

Sure thing. I just looked up Lia’s high school information on the net and I stand corrected. “She” graduated HS in 2017. I thought it was 2018 since “she” is the same age and college year as my son. My son graduated HS in 2018. I’ll pull out his HS yearbook from 2018 to see if the article I read is correct about Lia graduating in 2017 and not 2018. I’ll still also ask my son if he knows anything about Lia. Like I said he may have been in a class or two with Will (as he was known in HS). I know they did not run in the same circle.
Do you not notice this very long thread, and this story is carried on every mainstream media source with photos of Lia accentuating very male features?
Why in the world do you think no one is seeing this?
All major media sources are talking about it, and no one is stepping up to agree that Lia should be competing against women. No one.
Also, the umbrella organization over this college sport has changed the rules so this situation won't occur next year.
Sure. It's unlikely this will stop because ... when the first one sues for discrimination... what do you think will happen?
It's idiotic. All the progressives will be SO onboard with it again.
It's the emperor has no clothes scenario. According to YOU "Everyone sees it" yet it's still happening.
Why? Why is ONE MAN single handedly being ALLOWED to destroy a college sports industry?

I hear you. I could be wrong but knowing how competitive and narcissistic some people can be I could see it happening. And I’m just a naturally suspicious person.

Turns out mental health issues are prevalent among top college athletes.
