I think the majority of the US feels exactly that way.
You call yourself what you want to, dress the way you want to, and that's your life.
But you can't compete against biological women in athletic events or other events where males have clear advantage.
You can think both things, austinaggie. They're distinct thought processes.
And this can easily be undone, and in fact has been undone. A man will not be swimming on this team next year.
They've been taking expedited steps, and some much stricter criteria, just last fall.
The NCAA rule was first established in 2011. It said, basically, that they had to be on testosterone-inhibiting therapy for 12 months, and that their Testosterone had to be about 40% of a < 30 male's normal level.
The Swimming org has recently said 36 months and twice as low testosterone.
This is irrelevant.
The muscle, tendons and bone structure from being biologically male their entire lives up until the point of surgery and hormones is still there.
You can't undo what Mother Nature built over the course of two decades or more with a few months of hormones.

Care to make a wager on that? This is the first battle in the war. And unless those affected take direct action, each battle will be lost.
This battle was lost. Those girls sat on their collective azzez, complained in private, and WILLINGLY competed against a man. Willingly. They CHOOSE to. Which confirmed that HE had a right to be on their team, in that pool, and in those meets. Every time they practiced and raced with him, they legitimized his presence as a competitor and teammate.
Good luck to them in life. They are going to need it. They are doormats.

For anyone struggling to understand why Lia Thomas is a fraud (aside from the fact that he's a biological born male), look at his records/stats before he became trans. The term "night and day" doesn't even begin to describe it.

I said upthread that he should be ashamed of himself. It's literally like taking candy from a baby.
Every one of his wins should have a big asterisk next to it.
