RGB lost my credibility a few years ago. She should have kept her opinions to herself.

It means nothing to any of us. He's probably not going to "retire".

We are stuck with this quagmire we call our federal government.

In other words, it's being suggested that the co-equal Judicial Branch of our federal government be put under control of the Legislative Branch.

Not exactly. Congress can expand SCOTUS and make rules for judges. The legislators set judicial salaries. It just cannot deal with legal cases.

It's racist and a homage to White Privilege to suggest Thomas should recuse himself.

Anyone who thinks Thomas should be impeached from the SCOTUS is a racist and bigot. Nothing more, nothing less.

You keep posting ethics rules that don't pertain to the Supreme Court, the members of who which have none.

That's why Congress may impose some.

The news concerning the Ginni Thomas texts to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows shows that she adopted some extreme right-wing views and was angling for overturning the results of the 2020 election. At the very least her texts to the White House raise the appearance of bias on the court as to the Trump administration.

We were reminded last year that: https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...san-perceptio/

The person making that statement was Justice Amy Coney Barrett. Maybe Justice Thomas will exercise this hyper-vigilance.

SCOTUS is basically self-disciplining but this situation may result in a call for a canon of ethics for supreme court justices as there generally is none right now.

so should Harris recuse herself from being VP, since she actually did help BLM protesters get bail...and SHE HERSELF was supporting Jesse Smollett saying "oh the poor thing got hit in a hate crime"

those that live in glass houses, should not throw stones
