If you want to try and fight wokeness with your wallet, I don't know how much you could buy. We normally don't pay much attention to commercials, in fact we like to record our favorite shows and then fast-forward the commercials. Last night I did watch some live TV and was astounded to see the number of products being sold by mixed couples, mostly a Black man and White woman, one for a prescription drug that was apparently two gay fathers, and several such as "IRS help" and auto warranties with mostly Black "testimonials." While they may have been under-represented in the past, Blacks at 13.4% of the population today and Gays at 5.4 now they seem suddenly over-represented on TV, as if the companies are all woke or just trying to market to them. We watched a Canadian sitcom on CBC that highlighted a 14 year-old Lesbian's first kiss.

Haven't bought Oreos since they shut down production here in the USA.

This trend of 2-3 minute long commercials is really annoying. I always tolerated commercials as the way to pay for programming but not if they move away from the 30 second standard to these much longer ones. If anything I'd want commercials to drop to 15 seconds each, look away and back and it's over.

I don't care about Oreo's films or ads one way or the other, but I do agree with you about this. I've always liked Hydrox better.

When I was a child many decades ago, I would take apart the cookies, not to lick the filling as other kids did, but to scrape off the filling. Then I just ate the cookie parts.

Wonder what that would mean in today's world? lol

The Woke would probably feature your "allyship" and "bravery" in an Occupy Democrats Facebook piece one 'Whiteness Fasting', and the Qanon types would suggest that your "jungle fever" represented yet another adverse reaction to the Covid vaccine.
