The Abbott factory in Michigan produced infant formulas in unsanitary conditions, but only 2 kids died.

Trump followed Fauci's advise. Trump followed what he thought and told was "the science". Turned out the science was very wrong and that was Trump's biggest fail in my opinion, put way too much trust in a career government bureaucrat, one that is the highest paid employee of the US Government.

And they haven't concluded it was because of the formula. That was the only thing they could find that was 'common' with the babies.

Now the feds are being slow to grant the facility the ability to return to full production.

Who needs the fda anyway.
People just won’t buy that product if babies die- let the free market control be free!

The shelves are not completely empty.

But when a kid gets used to drinking a formula, she will often refuse to try other formulas.

let me say that I was shocked to see the price of formula yesterday in Costco, no less. Same size we used 16 years ago at ~$25 was $45 now.

Not every mother produces (sufficient) breast milk.
