So it sounds like some on here are okay to let Disney keep its self-governing status. Of course this means they’re okay with allowing such status to any big company wanting it.

What I'm not okay with is a government singling out and penalizing a private company because it doesn't like the company's political stance.

Disney covers 25 acres and brings in billions for the state. What other company compares to them.

I didn't realize Disney doesn't pay property taxes to the 2 counties it resides in. That is just wrong.

So no one is watching "liberal news" we just understand how simplistic things work.

for example, if there are no busses, then there is no way for people to get to Disney other than by car, and they only have 30,000 parking sports, for 250,000 people.
Why would you assume Disney would halt its shuttle services? That makes no sense.

You don't seem to understand, this isn't about democrats or republicans. This is either you are against pedophilia and the grooming of children in school at a young age to be sexualized, or you are for it.

DeSantis is trying to extend laws that help protect our kids and Disney is against that because they have been run by pedophiles for a long time.

California did this to Disney and you probably had no problem with this. Florida does it and now you are all upset? I thought democrats wanted corporations to pay their fare share? And mind you, Disney is one of the worst companies to work for. Low wages, no benefits unless you are at the top. And it's so expensive that the poor can never afford to go there unless they win some prize.

But DeSantis and the Florida legislature represent the government in Florida and punishing Disney for what they said is fine with Trump voters. Its unconstitutional for obvious reasons.
It’s not punishment. It’s equity. When you are used to privilege, and that privilege is taken away, equality seems like punishment.

A buddy of mine is a hardcore trump supporter. He said if this is in fact passed on to the taxpayers it’s political suicide. He killed his political career. The county is saying property taxes alone would go up 20% just for county services.

DeSantis other miscalculation is doing this in a very large county where mostly democrats hold high office. I assure you he handed them and gift and this is gonna get shoved back up his rectum in the form of a huge tax increase. He literally gave Democrats the baseball bat to beat him with.
