...the man's toast

"The president is actually asking for $30 billion for the war effort, but he said “$300 billion” ........twice

“Before Russia attacked, we made sure Russia had Javelins and other weapons to strengthen their defenses so Ukraine was ready for whatever happened,”

I am more disturbed that our Javelin's are so bad that if we "made sure RUSSIA had them Ukraine would have better defenses". What do they do explode on launch.

We have neither $30 billion, nor $300 billion. Maybe if Congress had been responsible, we would be able to help out more. But, we cannot afford to.

the kind of blunder that would be breathless MSM fodder for days if trump had said, it can only be found on conservative leaning websites.

And when these weapons that we're giving away end up in the wrong hands...

There's no accountability where these weapons are going once they land in Ukraine and by arming Ukraine, we're escalating the situation, basically asking for Russia to strike back, giving us and NATO a reason to start WW3.

He was toast before he was elected but had an advantage, he was not Trump.

What’s fascinating, is that he continues to have opportunities to speak in public, without benefit of a teleprompter.

As it relates to this incident, Biden made clear this proxy war benefits Lockheed and its employees.

The US military industrial complex demands constant feeding.

Both Russia and the US has armed 3rd parties in disputes\armed conflicts with each other a number of times harkening back to the end of WW2.

Russia also spread nuclear tech leading to proliferation risks around the globe like North Korea.

So, boo hoo...Ukraine is getting Javelins.

The US fought a decade long proxy war with Russia in Afghanistan in the 80’s. The US supplied the weapons and defense contractors to train. It attracted Jihadists from around the world. Bin Laden was one of them and al-Qaeda was born.

When Russia retreated, the US left the war toys which came in handy as Afghanistan retreated into civil war.

The US could have abandoned its long term geo political goals and declined to get involved.

I saw a funny comic this morning. It had a man checking out his groceries and he says to the clerk. "I'm not sure how this works, I just retired from Congress and I'm not used to spending my own money" .

$30 Billion $300 Billion What's the difference really? They are spending us into oblivion.
