What is wrong with you? Violence and harassment like that is never the answer regardless of which side it comes from. I feel as though some of our citizens don't have an individual thought anymore and walk around like mindless automatons. What the hell happened?

They narrowly escaped during Casey with a 5-4 decision, Amy Barrett was selected for this moment. A dream come true for Alito and Thomas. I don't like people protesting at anyone's home and not excusing their behavior but what republicans did the last few years certainly added to the unrest.
in the minds of the left, they did indeed 'add to the unrest' by doing their jobs.

they probably would if they could, but these are residential areas.

Putting a list out like that comes with the implication that people should act upon that information. Even if meant in a completely non-violent way there are some serious nutjobs out there that could attack somebody.
The people poo-pooing it as no big deal, imagine if the decision comes out and it doesn't change anything and some anti-abortion group does the same thing? You still ok with it while the next Eric Rudolph type plots something?

Yep.
Remember Gabby Giffords and "words have consequences"?
Yes doing the job they were selected for, hand picked by McConnell. Best we to change a decision you don't like is to stack the court in your favor, mow down precedent and claim you can't understand the anger.
oh, we understand the anger perfectly. leftists getting what they want for 49 years on the back of a poor decision with no actual constitutional basis - by a court 'stacked' in their favor - and then suddenly that bad decision being rightfully upended.
that's enough to enrage any hair-trigger leftist into putting on a *****-hat and shrieking in front of supreme court justices' houses til dawn.
I think it is very difficult for most people to separate their personal opinions from the law.
Yes, I also have very definite opinions about some things (and I am mostly pro-choice), but I am also a very strong proponent of law and order.
If the majority of people don't like a law, I think that they should work to change the law -- but without breaking other laws in any kind of a violent way or in any way that might bring physical harm to someone else. (I am very much in favor of peaceful protests.)
